Hali’i Kai Ocean Club

The Hali’i Kai Ocean Club amenity center includes a large freeform oceanfront tiered saltwater lagoon-style pool with waterfalls, as well as a spa for relaxing. The Ocean Club Bar and Grill overlooks the pool, and is a great place to enjoy a cool drink or tasty treat. The club has a fitness center as well, with a variety of exercise machines, free weights and a great ocean view! There is a daily fee for access to this amazing amenity center which is payable at the Hali’i Kai office at checkin.

A-Bay (Anaeho’omalu Bay) Beach

Within the Waikoloa Beach Resort you’ll find the white sand A-Bay (Anaeho’omalu Bay) beach. This local favorite is surrounded by a surf-breaking reef for calm waters. There are several hiking trails along the shoreline and sea turtles often sunbathe on this beach at the end of the day. Behind the beach are two large ancient fishponds, petroglyphs and archaeological sites that are important to Hawaiian history and culture. The Lava Lava Beach Club is a beach-side restaurant that offers frequent live music and excellent food and drinks.

Golf Courses

If you’re a fan of golf, Waikoloa is a great place to stay. Hali’i Kai is nestled amongst the Waikoloa Beach Course, with views of the signature “over the water” hole of the course (Number 15, par 3). Waikoloa is home to two world-class courses (the Beach Course and Kings’ course) and the community is within seven miles of seven challenging courses, the Waikoloa courses included.
