Located in the prestigious Laule'a gated community within the Mauna Lani resort, Laulea is one of the few complexes where you can easily walk to both the Mauna Lani Private Beach Club and 49 Black Sand Beach. The Mauna Lani Beach Club with its sheltered waters for snorkelling and paddle boarding, offers chairs, cabanas for your relation. It is also home to Napua Restaurant and Bar, which serves casual lunches and delicious, upscale dining in the evenings. 49 Black Sand Beach offers amazing snorkeling with the contrast of the bright tropical fish against the black lava sand bottom.

Elegant Escape is a new luxury home with 4 Primary Suites. There are three bedrooms in the main home and the fourth is a detached ohana suite for ultimate privacy.
The first Primary Suite has a King bed, spa-like primary bath with outdoor shower courtyard.
The second primary suite has a King bed and the third primary suite has two Queen beds.
The fourth bedroom in the detached Ohana suite has King bed, its own private ensuite bath and mini-fridge. All bedrooms have their own separate and private bathroom.

The living room and lanais have been elegantly furnished with plenty of comfortable seating throughout. The large private heated pool and hot tub are the perfect place to spend the day, or rest after a fun day of exploring the island. There is also an outdoor shower next to the pool. Private high-end grill on covered lanai for grilling fresh farmers market finds. The backyard is surrounded by a gorgeous view of the Mauna Lani Golf Course, Mauna Kea Mountain and Pacific Ocean.

County Law requires alarms on all ground-level sliding doors that lead to pool area, in order to prevent doors from being left open indefinitely.

A short walk away is famous 49 Black Sand Beach.

• Large collection of snorkel gear in multiple sizes so you can share the wonders of the ocean
• Boogie boards to enjoy playing in the waves
• Life jackets, swim belts for the younger ones
• Large wheeled cooler and Tupperware containers for your beach picnic

Enjoy our bikes (adult, youth and kids with helmets and locks) to explore the Mauna Lani resort. They are great for going to the Private Beach Club (access included), exploring the Black Sand Beach, historical grounds, Fairmont resort hotel or the many other wonderful places that Mauna Lani has to offer. Having traveled with our kids when they were young we know how difficult it is to lug all the baby equipment. Our goal is to make your life easier so we have equipped our vacation home with:

You can also take advantage of the clean private beach club staffed with lifeguards and the Napua Restaurant just a 10-15 min walk away. Excellent snorkelling in calm waters!

A short drive away are six of the most spectacular beaches in Hawaii including Beach 69, Hapuna beach and the breathtaking Mauna Kea beach.

The Kohala coast is a golfer's paradise with seven challenging courses all within seven miles of our villa.

Minutes down the street is the Shops at Mauna Lani where you can find supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants, clothing and accessory stores, art, and free weekly entertainment in the evenings.

[Airbnb] We had such a wonderful time staying at this place celebrating my birthday for the week. The house was amazing and surrounded by a lot of beautiful views. Every bed, pillow and seat in the house was so comfortable which is not normally the case in a lot of airbnbs. The beach club was a quick drive and we never had any issue with parking or the beach being crowded. The restaurant next to the beach was also really yummy and so convenient. We rode the bikes and enjoyed having access to the beach mats, chairs, umbrellas and snorkeling gear.

We really love being on at the Mauna Lani property with access to the beach club ; it's our favorite. The home we stayed at this time was Elegant Escape- amazing home, private pool, great outdoor lanai with grill and tiki torches- the view of the ocean and golf course are spectacular. The customer service is always amazing and the team checks in and gives you options to make your stay the best it can be- we would never even consider a vacation rental with another company on the big island. And while we can afford to stay at any of the resorts why would we when a private home affords us just as luxurious accommodations with more space and privacy! Highly recommend you give it a try!

[Airbnb] We had a great family vacation at this beautiful home with our son and his family. Three small children ages 3,4 and 6. This is a lovely, well appointed house with everything you could possibly need. Excellent kitchen with good cooking implements. The house was very comfortable, beds good, plenty of towels, beach towels, nice to have sand toys for the kids. Nice gas BBQ. Beautiful pool. My husband and I stayed in the Ohana suite , even had its own coffee maker. Perfect location for our family as we either swam in the pool or utilized the Mana Lani beach club pass ( we rented a golf cart which made it very easy to get back and forth). The beach at the club was great for the kids, good for them to learn to snorkel. We had a nice lunch there also a nice dinner. Our son and his wife played golf a couple of times, said it was a good course. Got main groceries at KTA 15 minutes away then close by foodland farms was good. Definitely recommend this vacation rental.

The thoughtful details like ample beach towels, chairs, bikes and snorkel equipment really enabled us to take full advantage of this spectacular location. The beach is within walking distance and is beautiful, with a great restaurant on site, and has amazing snorkeling for all levels and ages. My kids really enjoyed walking around the fish ponds near the ocean. This home was so comfortable, and the level of finish and design felt special and was a real treat for our family. The hosts were also very responsive before and during our stay. Would definitely return!

[VRBO] From long before check-in until we left, we were not disappointed. We were able to golf 3 different days and the rest we spent relaxing poolside or planning games on the lanai. Our family consisted of 3 couples and 2 young adult children and the property was perfect for us. We have stayed at different VRBOs in the past and this was by far the best stocked and best organized. We would highly recommend and hope to return in the future!

[VRBO] We couldn't have been happier with the property. It was absolutely beautiful and well taken care of and they had absolutely everything we needed in the kitchen. We hired a private chef to come in and cook for us one night and he had everything he needed. The kids and adults as well really loved having the pool And Spa. We rented golf carts and took them to the shops, and to some of the beaches and market. Everything was really close by. Had an absolutely amazing time and we would definitely rent this property again.

[VRBO] This was the perfect home base for our family vacation! Our group ranged in age and we felt the home was perfect for everyone. The home was very clean and well equipped. We spent so much time around the pool, barbecuing, and taking in the views. It was nice to be able to walk to the beach club and we had fun renting a golf cart to explore the area. We didn't want to leave and go back to the winter back home. We are already wishing we were back.

[VRBO] Very stayed at this beautiful home for 5 nights. I was with a group of college friends, celebrating our 50th birthday. There were 8 of us. The layout of the house and room size was perfect. Each bedroom had a bathroom attached which was key for our group. The house seemed very spacious! The decor is beautiful and classy. The kitchen was well stocked and even had extra things like baggies, tin foil, plastic wrap, and spices that are always needed in a vacation but you hate to buy. The landscaping outside was beautiful! The Beach and pool supplies provided were like new. About a 10 min walk to the beach or 3 min drive. Gorgeous views of the golf course with the water in the distance. Our group of 8 ladies can be particular- we've all been to Hawaii before and stayed at beautiful homes and resorts. We all agreed this was one of the best houses and that we would come. The property might be a bit pricey but you get what you pay for! It's worth it!

This home worked perfectly for our vacation with four couples. Everyone had a nice room, The kitchen was large and well-stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. The pool and spa were a huge plus. The location was great for golf (both watching people on the first fairway from the pool, and just a minute's drive to the club to play), and also close to the beach club and market. We'll rent again!

This property is an oasis of peace and beauty – a wellbuild home with refined, comfortable décor and gorgeous landscaping. The house feels elevated, but unpretentious – great for a group of friends or a family get-together. There’s a great grocery store just a few minutes away, and access to the beach club is a short walk from the property. Both my older parents *and* my teenage nephews all had a great time – which is no easy achievement. We hope to return again next year!

An Oasis in Kona!

[VRBO] We had a wonderful time for our party of 10! The view from the back lani / pool is awesome and you can see the ocean clearly. If walking to the beach, it’s a little lengthy with stuff, but we had a car and that was the best way to get there. The home is conveniently located in the middle of the west side of the island so access to Hilo is as easy as can be. Sonos is system is accessible, bikes were awesome, beach chairs were great, snorkel equipment was great. The golf course is beautiful, and the property is very clean. We have stayed at a home at the Montage in Maui last year and this is comparable to the quality. We loved it. I wish they had a roll away bed in the closet because the house is spacious enough. The end of the row position of the house makes it the best one! We will be back!
