This is a single-level 3 bedroom home.
The primary bedroom is furnished with a King size bed and private ensuite.
The 2nd bedroom is furnished with a Queen bed and a private ensuite.
Bedroom 3 has two TwinXL beds that combine as a King with a high-end topper, there is a bathroom just across the hall.
There is also a Queen sleeper sofa in the living room.
This home is the newer 3BR floor plan with 3 bathrooms vs 2.5.
The airy open-concept main floor includes kitchen, dining area, great room, and large covered lanai with grill. The dining room table will comfortably accommodate 6 people plus 3 at the expansive kitchen island.
The living room features large lanai pocket doors that hide in the wall so the outdoor lanai and living room merge into one open space. Listen to the sweet Hawaiian birds and feel the tropical breezes as you relax after a long day of fun in the sun! Enjoy our collection of bikes (adult, youth, and kids with helmets and locks) allowing you to explore the Mauna Lani resort. They are great for going to the Private Beach Club, exploring the Black Sand Beach, historical grounds, Fairmont resort hotel or the many other wonderful places that Mauna Lani has to offer. A short drive away are the six of the most spectacular beaches in Hawaii including Beach 69, Hapuna beach and the breathtaking Mauna Kea beach.
The Kohala Coast is a golfer's paradise with seven challenging courses all within seven miles of our villa.
Minutes down the street is the Shops at Mauna Lani where you can find a supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants, clothing and accessory stores, art, and free weekly entertainment in the evenings.

Yes! Dolphin Hale includes a pass for the Mauna Lani Beach Club where you can enjoy a protected cove, beach club chairs, and great on site Napua restaurant. Can you rent a golf cart to get around?
Yes! Cruising the resort in an electric cart is a guest favorite. While a standard vehicle is required to travel outside Mauna Lani Resort, an electric cart is perfect for quick trips to the private Mauna Lani Beach Club or The Shops at Mauna Lani.

You will find the kitchen at Dolphin Hale to be very well equipped making it easy to prepare meals right in the comfort of the home. It's great to dine out, but quite convenient to have the option to dine in! Are there any restaurants near Dolphin Hale?
There are several wonderful dining options just a short drive from KaMilo. The Shops at Mauna Lani offers a variety of choices, including Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar and Knead & Bake Pizza.
For oceanfront dining, Canoe House at the Mauna Lani, Auberge is a great option. The Fairmont Orchid is home to Hale Kai and Brown’s Beach House, both offering beautiful coastal settings.We will be traveling with children, any advise?
Family vacations in Hawaii are a ton of fun!
Our homes are set up for families. If your children are little - we have a pack 'n' play, baby monitor, high chair and bedrails. Let us know if you'd like the room with the twin beds configured separately or together.
Especially important, don't forget the sun screen for everyone, but please don't spray it on our lanai or walkways!
Some of our favorite activities with the family at Dolphin Hale are riding bikes, heading to the pools and beach, building epic sandcastles.

Mauna Lani Resort is located on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaiʻi, along the island’s sunny, dry western coastline, between Waikoloa and Waimea. It’s approximately 30 minutes north of Kona International Airport (KOA) and about 45 minutes south of Waimea.
The resort is known for its beautiful beaches, golf courses, historic Hawaiian fishponds, and luxury vacation homes, all set against a backdrop of black lava fields and the Pacific Ocean.Do I need a rental car?
The Big Island is BIG! There’s so much to see and explore beyond the resort, so we highly recommend having a rental car during your stay. It gives you the freedom to discover beaches, waterfalls, volcanoes, scenic drives and all the unique experiences the island has to offer. When we are on island, can we visit Volcano National Park?
Most definitely! Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park makes for a wonderful day trip from Mauna Lani. Pack a lunch, fill up the car, and plan a full day of exploring one of the island’s most unique landscapes.
The park is located on the opposite side of the island and is approximately a 2½-hour drive from Mauna Lani, making the journey part of the adventure. There is plenty to see and explore along the way and once you arrive at the park.

Yes! Cruising the resort in an electric cart is a guest favorite. While a standard vehicle is required to travel outside Mauna Lani Resort, an electric cart is perfect for quick trips to the private Mauna Lani Beach Club or The Shops at Mauna Lani.

There are several wonderful dining options just a short drive from KaMilo. The Shops at Mauna Lani offers a variety of choices, including Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar and Knead & Bake Pizza.

Our homes are set up for families. If your children are little - we have a pack 'n' play, baby monitor, high chair and bedrails. Let us know if you'd like the room with the twin beds configured separately or together.

Most definitely! Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park makes for a wonderful day trip from Mauna Lani. Pack a lunch, fill up the car, and plan a full day of exploring one of the island’s most unique landscapes.
The park is located on the opposite side of the island and is approximately a 2½-hour drive from Mauna Lani, making the journey part of the adventure. There is plenty to see and explore along the way and once you arrive at the park.
