Coffee is an economic mainstay of Kona, where generations of farmers continue the tradition with every harvest. Known for its rich, full body flavor, Big Island coffee trees thrive on the Island’s rich volcanic soil and perfect climatic conditions.

Ultraman World Championships

Nov 28-30 2025 – Big Island, Hawaii

This ultra-endurance is not for the faint of heart. This 3 day race invited only 40 elite athletes from around the world to complete a journey circling the island. The event includes a 6.2-mile swim from Kailua Bay, a 261.4-mile bike ride through mountains and lava plains, and a 52.4-mile double marathon ending in Hilo. Watch these superhuman athletes demonstrate their mental and physical fortitude in an inspiring race.
