Each year in November, Kona coffee’s world-renowned reputation along with the unique coffee-grower cultural heritage is spotlighted at the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival. The story of Kona coffee’s traditions is shared with residents and visitors during this festival celebrating the local harvest of this favorite crop. Coffee is an economic mainstay of Kona, where generations of farmers continue the tradition with every harvest. Known for its rich, full body flavor, Big Island coffee trees thrive on the Island’s rich volcanic soil and perfect climatic conditions.
Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Fee-Free Days
Nov 11th 2023 – Volcanoes National Park
The park will be free to enter on November 11th in honor of Veteran’s Day.
Hilo Christmas Extravaganza Craft Fair
Nov 17-18 2023 – Edith Kanaka’ole Tennis Stadium, Hilo
Shop local art and crafts celebrating the upcoming holiday season. There is a small fee, children 12 and under get in free.
