Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Fee-Free Days
Jun 19th 2026 – Volcanoes National Park
The park will be free to enter on June 19th for the Juneteenth National Independence Day.
Hawai’i Kuauli Pacific & Asia Cultural Festival
Jun 5-7, 2026 – Courtyard Marriott King Kamahameha’s Kona Beach Hotel
This is a 3-day event to celebrate the Hawai’i Island and “its beauty as a cultural melting pot”. There will be food, fashion, culture, hula, fireknife competition and more.

Kamehameha Day Parade
June TBA, 2026 – Kailua-Kona
Held each year in Kailua-Kona, the King Kamehameha Day Celebration Parade honors the life of the great Ali‘i who united the Hawaiian Islands. The parade takes place on the nearest Saturday to the statewide Kamehameha Day, which is always on June 11.
The parade features regal pa’u riders on horseback each representing the eight island, these islands’ respective princesses and the pa’u queen, hula halau, flowers, equestrian units, marching bands, and more. Enjoy a music and art festival at Hulihe’e Palace following the parade.
Big Island Jazz & Blues Festival
June TBA, 2024 – Mauna Kea Beach Hotel
The Big Island Jazz and Blues Festival will be at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel’s Oceanfront Stage. Grammy Award-winning artists in jazz, blues, rock, and more will be performing. There are usual pre-festival events as well.
Hawaii Island LGBTQ+ Pride Parade & Festival
June TBA, 2026 – Hilo
Enjoy a parade celebrating LGBTQ+ people, followed by the afternoon festival with food, activities and live entertainment.
