Booking and Cancelation Policies

Thank you for Choosing a Paradise In Hawaii Luxury Home for your Big Island Vacation!

To complete the booking process:

We will be sending you our Home Use Agreement electronically which we ask that you complete online and return.

You should receive this via E-mail within 24 hours.

Each of our homes are in communities with their own Home Owner Associations with their own specific condo association rules which are described in the Home Use Agreement and are specific to that community.

Your reservation is not confirmed until both the deposit has been received and the Home Use Agreement has been executed

Full payment is due 60 days in advance of your stay through Credit Card Payment.  We accept all major credit cards.

Check-In Time: 3 PM

Check-Out Time:  10 AM

Payment Schedule 

For Reservations booked more than 61 days or more prior to arrival

An initial deposit of 15% of the gross booking total including nightly rate, cleaning fees, damage waiver, and applicable taxes are due at the time of booking.  Paradise In Hawaii also offers Travelers a chance to purchase Red Sky Travel Insurance through them after booking acceptance.   If selected,  100% of the RedSky Sun Trip Preserver Travel insurance  is due at the time of booking.   The remaining balance of the reservation is due 60 days prior to the date of arrival.   Failure to pay at this time may cause the reservation to be cancelled and the deposit to be forfeited by the guest.

For Reservations booked 60 days or less from date of arrival

100% of entire nightly rate, cleaning fees, Vacation Rental Damage Protection Plan  and applicable taxes are due at the time of booking.   On the day your booking is accepted, Paradise In Hawaii will also offer you option to Purchase Red Sky Travel Insurance from them.   If selected  100% of the RedSky Sun Trip Preserver Travel insurance is due at the time of booking.   The RedSky Sun Trip Preserver insurance may not be added at a later date.

CANCELLATIONS : 

Bookings may be cancelled within  48 hours of our acceptance of your booking request with full refund of any and all deposits.  After 48 hours following the booking acceptance and up to 60 days prior to the date of arrival  the reservation may be cancelled with any deposits refunded less the cancellation fee of 10% of Gross Rental amount.

Bookings made within the 60 day cancellation period are non-refundable and no refunds will be issued.

To avoid any cancellation fees for cancellations made in advance of 61 days prior to initial arrival date,  you may,  subject to date approval by Agency, move your reservation dates to an arrival date within 365 of your original arrival date.  In this case your deposit will be applied towards the new total cost.   Approval on date changes are entirely within the discretion of the Agency.
