There’s a huge variety of flora and fauna present on the Big Island, some of which can only be found in Hawaii.
From the beaches, tidepools, and reefs, to the mountains and rainforests, there’s no shortage of ecosystems on the Big Island. And, of course, we can’t forget Kilauea, the most active volcano on the Big Island. There are so many ways to see and learn about the nature on the Big Island: snorkelling and scuba, wildlife boat tours, visiting national parks, eco tours, and the botanical gardens. Our homes located on the Kohala Coast provide a great base for exploring the entirety of the island. You’ll likely even get to see some of the Big Island’s wildlife from the comfort of our rentals, as goats and geckos tend to frequent the resort areas. Additionally, our homes are close to some amazing beaches for ocean exploration and discovery.
