DISCOVER BIG ISLAND FESTIVITIES
AND TAKE PART IN THE FUN
Waimea Twilight Christmas Parade
Dec 2, 2023 @ 5:30pm – Waimea
Waimea’s famous Christmas Parade is the second oldest in Hawaii and takes place the first Saturday of December each year. The parade begins in Waimea Park, and concludes at the Kalani Schutte District Park. The parade benefits the Big Island Giving Tree, a local non-profit organization.
Every year, the Waimea Christmas Twilight Parade features dozens of floats representing Waimea — including schools, youth groups, farms, ranches and businesses, plus a huge brigade of festively lighted trucks. After the parade, Santa will visit Parker Ranch Center’s Fireside Food Court to visit with keiki. There will also be the annual free Star Party put on by Canada’France Hawai’i Telescope.
